What we do
Star City Swag (Swag) is a Roanoke-based quartet honoring the breadth of artists from the genesis of the "Jazz Age" through the "Jazz and Swing" eras of American musical history. For over ten years, they have performed in a range of spaces spanning historical theaters and venues, headlined jazz festivals and prestigious academic institutions, as well as a range of private engagements. The ensemble escorts listeners through time as they hear iconic songs from legendary masters of the genre like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington and Frank Sinatra. To add to the experience, you will also be visually transported as Star City Swag pays tribute to this time of etiquette, elegance and fashion.
